There is great fun for all ages in this high-spirited tale of the Indian jungle. Two actors bring all the characters to life, as one after another takes the stage. Tabaqui, truly a laughing hyena entertains all with his wacky jungle jokes. Kaa, the slithering snake, Bagheera, the too-cool panther and Bandar the totally chill monkey, all provide friendship and protection for the young visitor. The jungle elders, Akela and Baloo, teach Mowgli of the joys and warn him of the dangers of the jungle. Finally, the boy learns that the jungle, with the scowling Shere Khan always nearby, is not the home he needs. He bids his animal family good-bye, and finds his place in a human family, never forgetting his amazing jungle journey.
